We are now looking for caregivers/nursing assistants for summer temporary positions in departments 90 and 95 for 24/7 service.

The General Psychiatry Clinic in Falun & Säter has a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry with the main task of caring for and treating patients with acute psychiatric conditions. The clinic's units are located in both Säter and Falun. In Säter, there is the county's only psychiatric emergency department as well as departments 90 and 95. In Falun, there is a dependency center, a general psychiatric department, an eating disorder clinic, and an ECT clinic.

• Department 90 in Säter has 10 places and is the county's only psychiatric intensive care unit with high staffing around the clock. Patients with severe psychiatric symptoms are cared for in this department where there is a risk of self-harm or harm to others. Patients are usually cared for under LPT, the Act on Psychiatric Coercion.
• Department 95 in Säter is a general psychiatric department with 14 places for patients with various psychiatric diagnoses in a calmer phase. Patients are cared for under HSL or LPT. In both departments, doctors, nurses, and caregivers work together in teams and strive for a person-centered approach and perspective. The safety routines in our departments are clear, important, and well established.

As a caregiver, you work closely with the patient providing treatment and care interventions based on the patient's unique needs. Rounds, support conversations, documentation, sampling, group sessions, and working in the patient kitchen are also included in the caregivers' responsibilities. Transporting patients to and from examinations occurs, using a leased car with two to three staff members conducting the transport.

We are looking for someone interested in working with care and treatment interventions for patients with severe psychiatric symptoms in an acute phase. You have good collaboration skills and want to work in a team where the patient is an obvious member. We place great importance on personal suitability.

Requirements:

You are a trained caregiver or nursing assistant who has completed the Care and Nursing program or the vocational package Care and Nursing in adult education.

You are currently enrolled in a nursing assistant program within the Care and Nursing program or vocational package in adult education.

You are currently enrolled in a nursing program and have completed semester 4.

It is desirable that you have a B driver's license.
